After landing at Haneda Airport, follow the signs and staff instructions for arrivals. International passengers generally proceed through immigration, baggage reclaim and customs; domestic arrivals follow the appropriate domestic route.

After landing

  1. Follow the arrival route for your terminal and flight type.
  2. Complete immigration procedures if arriving on an international flight.
  3. Collect checked baggage from the carousel shown on the airport information screens.
  4. Follow Japan Customs instructions and make declarations when required.
  5. Proceed to the correct train, monorail, bus, taxi or pickup area using the terminal signs.

Meeting an arriving passenger

Agree a meeting point in advance and allow for changes to arrival times. Confirm the terminal and arrival lobby with the passenger before setting off.

Missing baggage

Report missing or damaged checked baggage to the airline or its ground-handling representative as soon as possible. Keep your baggage tag and boarding pass and request a written claim reference.
